Marble Cold Stone Placement
BACK or SINUS
Our hand-crafted marble stones are positioned directly along your spine, neck, or face, to help alleviate pain and discomfort. Its major benefits are pain relief and relaxation. It’s also great for reducing inflammation near the skin surface, in conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, or headaches and migraines.
Most people know that it’s recommended to ice a sprain or sore muscle. But unlike using an ice pack where you need to subject yourself to the intense cold for 15-20 minutes, with cold stone massage the frigid feeling lasts only seconds because the chilled stones can deliver an intensely penetrating cold and therefore don’t need to remain in place long.
Hot Stone Placement
BACK
Hot stone massage is a massage modality that employs the use of smooth, flat stones. Our stones are dry heated (waterless stones!) and positioned to sit along your spine for 3-5 minutes. The rounded polished stones utilized are made of basalt, with a bit of limestone, allowing the stone to be heated quickly and stay heated longer. Major benefits of the heat resting on your body includes releasing deep tension to help ease sore muscles, assisting in localized blood circulation to stagnant tissue, eases stress by offering a deeper state of relaxation.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping is a technique that uses small glass or silicone cups as a suction device that is placed on the skin to disperse and break up stagnation and congestion by drawing congested blood, energy, or other humors to the surface. When suction has occurred, the cups can be gently moved across the skin or left stationary. Cupping causes the skin and superficial muscle layer to be lightly drawn into the cup. It can be thought of as the inverse of massage – rather than applying pressure to muscles, it uses gentle pressure to pull them upward.
For most people, this treatment is relaxing and relieving sensation. Once applied to the body, cups are generally left in place for about ten minutes. The side effects of cupping are mild. The most common side effect is skin discoloration, and it should be expected. Most people find that skin will return to looking normal within 10 days.
dōTERRA Essential Oil
Essential oils are the essence of a plant, a gift from the earth, distilled and prepared for you to bring the power of nature into your home. Inside many plants—hidden in roots, seeds, flowers, bark—are concentrated, highly potent chemical compounds. These natural compounds are essential oils.
Essential oils give a plant its scent, protect it from hazardous environmental conditions, and even assist it with pollination, among other essential functions and benefits.
When you open a bottle of pure, unadulterated essential oil, your senses are instantly filled with its potent aroma, even from a distance. What your nose detects are the naturally occurring elements of the essential oil.

MASSAGE THERAPY
Mayo Clinic says, “In massage therapy, a trained, certified medical professional (massage therapist) manipulates the soft tissues of your body — muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and skin. The massage therapist uses varying degrees of pressure and movement. Massage is considered part of integrative medicine. Medical centers are offering it more as a treatment along with standard treatment. It may be used for a wide range of medical conditions.”
Massage therapy relieves pain, eases tension, relaxes inflamed muscles, reduces stress, improves local circulation, enhances mood, and rejuvenates mental and physical wellness. Overall, massage therapy is an excellent form of self-care.
